Just when we thought it couldn't get any hotter, we lunched barefoot under the searing sun. Much of the day we skied sans shell jacket and Paul was down to his long johns in the afternoon.

To make up for it we're having colder nights and it's nice to snuggle up in our awesome Mont 8000 expedition sleeping bags. This morning for the first time we had a veneer of ice on water left in the billy.

Our first 6 sessions are fast, we're doing 3.6km per hour, leaving just 4.6km for the last two sessions.

We passed tracks of what we think was an Arctic Fox, clearly on a mission to complete a solo and unsupported crossing of Greenland!

Heath just came in after a snow bath, perfect remedy after a sweaty day.

Eric

Pics of Paul and Heath at lunch, Heath's photo of Arctic fox tracks, our camp tonight and Jade excited about her roast chicken dinner.
