The temperature rose to a balmy -3c today, heralding a blizzard which struck in the morning and has increased in intensity and still rages now. The noise on the tent is pretty annoying. The barometric pressure is down to 989 hPa and dropping so I don't expect any relent til tomorrow.
The ice pressure is also minimal making for slick progress across the ice despite the poor visibility. We made another 25km and camp 35km from the pole, taking any pressure off our scheduled April 25 flight out. All happy, as seen in our faces during a pic stop in the lee of a large ice block.
