Mojo back

The rest day worked wonders and we packed this morning with a spring in our step.

My breathing is back
My strength is back
My stamina is back
My appetite is back
My taste is back
My corny humour is back
My mojo, yeah baby, is back.

Keith's eye has come good too.

Thanks to my expedition mates for their concern and understanding and to the Union Glacier doc for her advice. And thanks to those who sent messages of support.

And what a day to return to form. A dome of blue sat over a disc of white and three skiers moved from one side of it to the other. I cant help but think of The Truman Show.

The surface is now void of sastrugi, just an endless plain of flat coarse granulated snow whose sharp crystalline structure tugs at ski and sled. But the work comes easy when we contemplate where the f we are.

22km, -21c, no wind.
